Wind River Systems, Inc. announced Friday an investment in Tvia, Inc.
to jointly develop and market streaming media library, Internet appliance, and set-top box technology.
Terms of the arrangement weren’t disclosed.
In addition, Tvia will distribute an evaluation copy of Wind River’s Tornado integrated development environment along with Tvia’s software development kits to Tvia’s customers in the digital television and set top box markets.
