1stUp.com, a provider of free, ad-supported
Internet access solutions, and online ad network Adsmart said that that Adsmart has become
1stUp.com’s preferred advertising network.

Adsmart is a majority-owned operating company of CMGI Inc., which is in the process of
acquiring 1stUp.com.

Under the agreement, Adsmart will also serve sell advertisements for future
ad-supported free Internet access services offerings powered by 1stUp.com.

Adsmart’s ads are viewable in the advertising window on the 1stUp.com
navigation bar, a compact, movable guide to the Web that remains visible on
users computer screens for the duration of their free online sessions.

1stUp.com and AltaVista launched AltaVista FreeAccess
in August of this year, and similar free access offerings powered by
1stup.com are expected to launch soon.

Adsmart is comprised of more than 375 Web sites totaling 2.5 billion monthly
impressions.
