24/7 Media Inc.added three new content
channels for online advertisers using its 24/7 Network–e-commerce, careers
and kids.

The launch brings the number of 24/7 Network content channels to 21.

“E-commerce, career and children’s content Web sites are clearly three of the
fastest-growing content areas on the Web and are increasingly popular with
advertisers,” said Mark Burchill, senior vice president, business development
at 24/7 Media. “As a result, we’re committed to aggressively growing these new
channels and providing media buyers with the most robust site offerings in the
industry.”

The e-commerce channel is comprised of a number of online merchants, auction
sites and online shopping search engines. The channel is aimed at the large
and growing audience of consumers who are researching products online or have
decided to make an online purchase.

The careers channel is dedicated to career development sites, and
includes HeadHunter.NET, College Grad Job Hunter and Knight
Ridder’s Real Cities’ JobHunter.

24/7’s kids channel is designed for advertisers wishing to reach parents or
households with children present. Sites include curiocity’s FreeZone , Coloring.com and Real Cities’ Knight
Ridder’s RealBeanies.

The 24/7 Network is comprised of more than 125 name brand Web sites organized
into content channels. The company also operates The ContentZone, a network of
more than 2,500 small to medium sites. In addition, the company owns and
operates 24/7 Profilz, a co-op database of Web user profiles, employed with
24/7’s Adfinity adserving system, which delivers targeted ads based on
demographic profiles.
