ChannelOne.com, an online network for
teens and the Web site of the Channel One Network, signed with 24/7 Network in New York City for online
ad sales representation.

The site was designed to give teens a place on the Internet to “Speak Your
Mind.” “It provides teens a place to discuss their views and it offers
marketers a receptive audience and a close-up view of the issues that drive
the teen scene today,” said Suneel Ratan, vice president/general manager of
the Channel One Online Network.

Launched in March 1996, ChannelOne.com features four main content
areas–News, Life, Sports and Entertainment–as well as chat rooms and open
message boards. A key feature of the online network is live polling. The
site claims an average click-through rate of 4% for advertising banners.

The Channel One Network itself is a provider of television news and
educational programs to secondary schools across the country.
