Pay-for-position business directory 411now.com entered a co-branding venture with
Infoseek’s Express product, a meta-search
tool.

411now.com said it will be included as the only business directory Web site to
search for national Web sites of a business nature. Financial arrangements
were not disclosed.

Internet Marketing Solutions, the parent company of 411now.com, said it will
use its affiliation with Infoseek’s Express to send Internet users a free
program that “will make searching the Internet fast, fun and easy.”

“This product will be the most efficient and easiest way for new comers to the
Internet to learn what the World Wide Web has to offer,” said Cathy Bass, COO
and co-founder of 411now.com.

411now.com is a business directory of Web sites spanning 60 categories. The
directory is searchable by company name, category, major city, state and zip
code. Unlike other directories that use editorial selection methods to list
the order of sites in a search, 411now.com allows its clients, for a fee, to
guarantee their position in the
top 15 by category by city, state and/or nationwide.

Web site owners can also purchase tile ads that appear on the search results
pages for their category or on the home page of the 411now.com site. All
businesses may list their Web sites in the 411now.com directory for free.
