Accrue Software Inc., a provider of Web
site analysis software, said that five technology companies have
standardized on Accrue Insight to analyze online user behavior and measure
the effectiveness of their corporate Web sites, online stores, and
corporate intranets.
New customers are Apple Computer Inc., Micro Warehouse Inc., Rational
Software Corp., and Synopsys Inc. Financial details were not disclosed.
Accrue Insight is an enterprise-class Web site analysis solution developed
for complex, highly trafficked and rapidly growing sites. Accrue uses
sophisticated Java visualization techniques to communicate information about
both content data (number of hits, bytes served, browser type and user
domain breakdowns) and network delivery (time required for page delivery,
pages stopped in transit and effective line speeds).
The information allows more intelligent online marketing decisions to improve
online customer service, online sales, site offerings, site performance and
ultimately increase return on investment, the Sunnyvale, CA-based company
says.
