AdKnowledge in Palo Alto, CA, which
markets an end-to-end Web advertising management system, named Jim Alla as
director, Eastern Regional Sales and promoted Susan Lutter to the position of
director, Western Regional Sales.
The company also expanded its sales and customer service operation in New York
to support its growing business in the region.
Alla will also manage the company’s New York sales office, which has recently
grown with the addition of two account managers and an online account
coordinator. Alla joins AdKnowledge from Ziff-Davis Publishing where he spent
the past 10 years. He most recently served as national associate publisher for
PC Week. Prior to Ziff-Davis, Alla worked in the software industry in both
sales and customer support roles.
Lutter will be responsible for sales in the Western region and will also
manage the Chicago market and the company’s San Francisco sales office. Lutter
joined AdKnowledge in 1996 and most recently was sales manager for the Western
region. Previously she was an advertising consultant, following 15 years as a
principal in Owens/Lutter, an agency with clients such as Xerox, Samsung,
General Signal and Essilor.
