AdKnowledge, a provider of end-to-end
Web advertising management services, completed a second round of venture
financing totaling $14 million.
New York-based Sandler Capital Management, an investment management firm, was
the lead investor in the round. The company’s first-round investors, Kleiner
Perkins Caufield & Byers, The Walden Group, and Partech International, as well
as new investors, Tokyo-based Techno-Venture Co., Ltd. and GeoCapital Corp.,
also participated.
Samantha McCuen, vice president of Sandler Capital Management, will represent
her firm on AdKnowledge’s board of directors. Also new to the board of
directors is
Philippe Cases, a partner in Partech International.
Other board members include Scott Kauffman, president and chief executive
officer of AdKnowledge; Russell Siegelman, partner of Kleiner Perkins Caufield &
Byers; and Steve Eskenazi, managing general partner of Walden Media and
Information Technology Fund LP.

The AdKnowledge System automates the advertising process and delivers it
through one easy-to-manage Web-based system, which enables users to plan, buy,
traffic, target, serve, report and analyze.
