Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Signs With THINK

THINK New Ideas Inc. was selected to design and develop a next-generation interactive presence for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.

“The new Web site will serve our members as well as market metro Atlanta to7the high-tech industries targeted for relocation and expansion in metro
Atlanta,” said Sam A. Williams, Chamber President. “It will also serve as a forum and information service about major
quality of life issues facing the entire metro region.”

THINK Atlanta, formerly Interweb, was chosen to manage the implementation of
the project following a review process. THINK produced an analysis of
requirements for the Chamber’s Web presence prior to award. Billings were not
disclosed.

“THINK’s Strategic Consulting Group, utilizing our Vision Process, was able to
identify and define a unique and opportunistic approach for the Chamber that
establishes systems and methods to track both visitor satisfaction and return
on investment,” said Ron Bloom,
chairman and CEO of THINK.

THINK said it will provide the Chamber with state-of-the-art content management tools
that will allow different divisions of the Chamber to manage their own content
under the general supervision of a single site administrator.

When completed, the new Web site will feature an updated graphic design plus
calendars of events, a membership list, online surveys, newsletters, site-wide
search capability, discussion forums, bid-matching functions, answers to
“Frequently Asked Questions”
(FAQs), as well as online transactions for purchase of Chamber publications
and even memberships. In the future, advertising opportunities will also be
added.

The site will remain at the address of the Chamber’s current Web site, and
launch of the first phase is expected in the fourth quarter.
