Borders.com Launches Grammy Sweepstakes Promotion

Borders.com, official online music retailer
of the Webcast for the 41st Annual Grammy Awards, is sponsoring a “Grammy
Getaway” sweepstakes.


Grand prize is a $1,000 Borders shopping spree plus tickets and an all-expense
trip paid for two to attend the music industry event in Los Angeles Feb. 24.


Beginning Jan. 11, Borders.com users may enter the “Grammy Getaway” by
visiting Borders Web site and following sweepstakes
entry instructions.
Borders.com customers who make purchases between Jan. 11 and Jan. 25 will
automatically be entered. Postcard entries will also be accepted.


The winner will be notified via e-mail and will be featured on the Borders.com
homepage.


IBM is sponsoring and producing the official Grammy event
site

with the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Borders.com will
link to Grammy.com and host “The Grammy Spotlight,” where users can listen to
and purchase Grammy-nominated recordings, participate in chats and learn about
Grammy-nominated artists.
