Business.com, the new eCompanies-incubated Internet service
for businesses, has tapped four firms to help it launch and market itself
on an ongoing basis.

Deutsch LA is handling advertising
duties. Golin/Harris International
will do public relations. Organic and
marketing agency UPSHOT are acting as
strategic marketing partners.

The goal, toward which all of the companies are working, is to position
Business.com as the place to go for the information and online resources
needed to succeed in business.

“We’ve created a powerful team of experts who will work closely together to
launch the site that will change the face of business,” said Jake Winebaum,
acting chief executive officer of Business.com and co-founder of eCompanies.

“The team possesses both extensive Internet branding experience and a
shared passion and enthusiasm for Business.com and its mission.”
