New York City-based DoubleClick Inc. said that Comedy Central Online has signed to
become a member of DoubleClick’s Select Network of premium sites.

“Comedy Central is an important addition to DoubleClick’s Entertainment
category as it further extends our reach and offers advertisers cutting-edge
content for effectively targeting consumers,” said Wenda Harris Millard,
executive vice president and general manager of the DoubleClick Network.

Comedycentral.com claims one million unique visitors per month.

“DoubleClick is an industry leader whose state-of-the-art technology and
strategic sales force will make a perfect partner for us,” said Larry
Lieberman, vice president, strategic planning and new business development at
Comedy Central. “Being a part of DoubleClick’s Select Network enhances our
ability to not only generate more revenue, but also to create enhanced and
more sophisticated relationships with online advertisers.”

The Comedy Central cable channel is available in more than 58 million homes
nationwide. It is a 50-50 joint venture of Time Warner Entertainment and
Viacom.
