ComputerJobs.com, a job site that
specializes in information technology opportunities, on Friday said it had
made an advertising deal with Yahoo!,
which involves key word buys and category-specific placements for banner ads.

The jobs site will receive banner advertisements on search result pages for
employment- and IT-related keyword searches. Its ads will also appear in
Yahoo! Classifieds
and Yahoo! Careers. Spending for the campaign wasn’t disclosed.

ComputerJobs.com is also running a promotion, which will be accessible
through Yahoo! It’s giving away two desktop computers, and other prizes
with a total value of $40,000.

The jobs space, of which ComputerJobs.com is a part, has been a highly
competitive arena of very active advertisers, from Monster.com, to HotJobs.com, to kforce.com.
