Eisenberg Communications Selects AdForce

Apr 28, 1998

IMGIS Inc. in Cupertino, CA, the provider of AdForce, a centralized Internet advertising management solution, formed a
marketing agreement with advertising sales firm Eisenberg Communications Group Inc. (ECG).

The agreement covers IMGIS’ AdForce solution, which manages every aspect of
Internet ad serving, including media planning, execution, auditing, reporting,
and accounting. AdForce helps advertisers target potential customers via the
Web, delivering tailored messages to qualified prospects who match the profile
an advertiser wishes to target. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

“We’ve worked with a number of ad servers, and have found that when it comes
to targeting and online reporting capabilities, the delivery of the impression
and the ability to sell a total package, AdForce is the clear winner,” said
Jeffrey Eisenberg, president and founder of ECG. “AdForce is allowing ECG to
pursue new Internet opportunities that enable us to expand our business
model.”

ECG is leveraging its traditional one-to-one advertising sales approach with a
new network business model. The addition of AdForce technology will allow ECG
to reach 300 million ad impressions in the next 90 days with new clients such
as WebFlyer, Cinescape Online, 123greetings.com, collegeclub.com and The
American Film Institute, the company said.

Founded in 1990, ECG evolved from a traditional print advertising sales
organization to include an Internet advertising sales model in 1997. The
company currently represents over 50 Web sites including Internet Travel
Network, Motor Trend Online, CitySearch and several other idealab! companies.

IMGIS said it serves more than 750 million ads monthly on behalf of various
advertisers, ad sales networks, and Web sites.
