Oct 13, 1998

ElectricVillage in Santa Cruz, CA, an integrated online network for the radio
industry, said it changed its name to OnRadio, to better reflect the company’s
commitment and value to its extensive network of radio stations.

OnRadio offers the radio industry an end-to-end solution for taking radio
stations online and establishing them as local entertainment and information
hubs. OnRadio offers a range of Internet services that helps stations extend
relationships with listeners and pursue non-traditional revenue streams from
national Web advertisers and e-commerce providers.

OnRadio also said it signed an agreement with online retailer Amazon.com
allowing radio stations to share the revenue generated by the sales of music
from their playlists. OnRadio’s station list now numbers 540 radio stations.

“OnRadio embodies our mission to extend ‘on-air to online.’ Our company is
evolving the traditional broadcast model to incorporate the fastest-growing
medium in history–the Internet,” said Ricardo Ramirez, president and CEO of
OnRadio.
