E*TRADE Group Inc. and SportsLine USA Inc. said they have
entered into a comprehensive co-marketing agreement that makes E*TRADE the
exclusive category sponsor of the CBS SportsLine/MarketWatch Business &
Financial Arena.

“CBS SportsLine has attracted a loyal following of Internet-savvy adults who
have much the same characteristics as E*TRADE’s customer base. This co-marketing agreement will assist E*TRADE in reaching potential customers who
will realize that our extensive suite of investment products and services are
perfect for today’s on-the-go, independent-minded investor,” said Michael
Pohlmann, vice president, strategic business development at E*TRADE Group.

“CBS SportsLine’s audience is primarily affluent males aged 18-54 who are
hard to reach via traditional media and who also are, we believe, a good match
for E*TRADE’s products and services,” said Michael Levy, president and CEO of
SportsLine USA.

Financial arrangements were not disclosed. The co-marketing agreement also
includes E*TRADE branded banners running throughout special promotions on CBS
SportsLine and GolfWeb, a golf Web site also published by
SportsLine USA.
