Globalization services company eTranslate named Scheyer/SF as its agency of
record and will launch a $3 million national business-to-business ad campaign
beginning in mid-November.

The ad campaign, using industry trades, business-based weeklies and radio,
will promote eTranslate’s standards for globalizing Web sites as well as its
proprietary technology.

eTranslate will become a vital partner to any company that requires at least
a second language to deliver its worldwide message, said Scheyer. “We are
gearing the campaign to two distinct audiences — major web development firms
and Fortune 2000 companies with international Web site needs.”

eTranslate has developed a Translation Management System that allows
e-commerce companies to rapidly scale their multilingual Web sites.

The Translation Management System helps ensure that projects are translated,
edited and proofread by language professionals who specialize in the field of
expertise relevant to the job.

Paired with eTranslate’s network of 12,000 language professionals in 110 countries, the Translation Management System processes jobs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Scheyer/SF is a $25 million boutique ad agency that services clients
including Fog City Leather, Film Institute of Northern California (Mill
Valley Film Festival, Rafael Film Center), EMusic.com, Freeworks Hire
Systems, Informatica, Internet Underground Music Archive (IUMA), Intuit
(online agency for Quicken.com) and VIT.
