Portland, OR-based interactive agency eyescream interactive said it has
contracted billings for the first two months of 1999 in excess of the
company’s total invoices for 1998, and expects to record $20 million in
billings in 1999.

In 1998, the company said it tripled the previous year’s billings.

“I’m thrilled because growth means we can continue to innovate and make money
for our clients, and have a great time doing it,” said Mark Grimes, eyescream
founder and
president. “There’s no magic bullet for success on the Net–just the urgency
to stay creative and responsive to the lighting-quick change happening
online.”

eyescream, founded by Grimes, became an online agency in 1995 after eight
years as a
traditional marketing company. Clients include Consumer Reports, SimpleNet,
Intuit, GoTo.com and Nextel.
