Imagery provider Getty Images Inc. signed a marketing
alliance with Warp 10 Technologies, a business-to-business
Internet resource for the creative community.
Warp 10 connects buyers and sellers of marketing, advertising and new media
services in an online marketplace.
The agreement will provide visitors to Warp 10’s creative sites, www.Portfolios.com, www.adsGallery.com and www.MediaLot.com, with access to Getty
Images’ extensive still image collections.
The Getty Images site offers licensed imagery, royalty-free imagery, historic
photography and sports photography, as well as complementary content from
other providers and is scheduled for launch in the fourth quarter of this
year.
Under the terms of the agreement, Warp 10’s community of online customers
will be able to access Getty Images’ professional portal site directly from
Warp 10’s branded sites, allowing them to search for and access imagery with
a single click. In return, Getty Images will share a percentage of revenue
generated from customers referred from those sites.
“The people who use our marketing and advertising sites are technology-savvy,
creative professionals looking for the best in online products and services,”
said Marvin Igelman, president and chief executive officer of Warp 10.
“Partnering with Getty Images will extend our ability to deliver exceptional
quality of imagery, breadth of collections and hassle-free online access to
our growing user base.”
Getty Images has more than 30 million photographs and more than 15,000 hours
of film.
