GiftCertificates.com said it will work with USWeb/CKS to create and implement
an integrated marketing communications strategy, which is expected to extend
the company’s brand beyond existing relationships with America Online,
Compuserve and Prodigy. Billings were not disclosed.
“This represents another step in GiftCertificates.com’s plan to build its
brand and raise awareness among consumer and corporate buyers that there is a
convenient one-stop destination to purchase gift certificates from America’s
favorite online and off-line merchants,” said Max Bardon, vice president of
sales and marketing of GiftCertificates.com.
USWeb/CKS will help build the GiftCertificates.com brand by creating
integrated marketing strategies expected to include promotions, direct
e-marketing, Internet publicity, and media creation and placement.
