InfoSpace Partners With Lambert Publishing

InfoSpace Inc. and Lambert Publishing, which puts out BestTalk, The Talking Phone Book, formed a strategic partnership to bring local advertising to yellow pages on the Internet.


Lambert Publishing will represent InfoSpace exclusively in Alabama and
Georgia. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.


“Businesses that advertise with Lambert Publishing now have a much better
method of reaching new and existing customers through the Internet. InfoSpace
has emerged as the undisputed leader in the Internet yellow pages industry,”
said Steve Lambert, president of Lambert Publishing. “InfoSpace has a unique
and vast distribution network which sets it apart from any other online
yellow pages.”


Redmond, WA-based InfoSpace offers yellow page advertisers the option of
differentiating themselves on the Internet by making a listing bold or larger;
creating a home page, business logo, or a link to their home page; having a
display advertisement; or sponsoring a heading.
