infoUSA Expands VideoYellowPagesUSA.com to San Francisco

VideoYellowPagesUSA.com, a division of infoUSA, said that due to “the
overwhelming success” of its test marketing in Omaha, it has decided to
expand its service to the San Francisco Bay area, effective Aug. 31.

VideoYellowPagesUSA.com is a multimedia yellow page directory service that
includes listings for every business in the U.S. and currently features
videos of nearly 700 advertisers in Omaha.

The video clips allow the business owners to demo products and services, give
tours, and introduce staff. Traffic to the site grew to more than 10,000 page
views per day in July, up four-fold from the beginning of the year, the
company said.

“Advertisers love the concept and the response from consumers has been
overwhelming,” said Mike Geppert, VideoYellowPagesUSA.com president. “We’re
finding many visitors spend up to 20 minutes viewing videos and exploring the
site.”

The company has hired retired University of Nebraska football coach Tom
Osborne as the official spokesperson for VideoYellowPagesUSA.com. Osborne is
featured in several television commercials.

“We are eager to officially roll-out this revolutionary new product in San
Francisco, the Internet capital of the world,” said Vinod Gupta, chairman and
chief executive officer of infoUSA.
