InterAd Launches Division in Italy

Nov 2, 1998

European online ad sales rep firm InterAd launched a new divisional operation for Italy, aimed at bringing a European focused approach to Italian
online marketing.

Based in Milan, the new division will focus on the needs of Italian Web sites
and advertisers and is actively seeking to incorporate Italian sites into its
portfolio. InterAd said it already represents more than 40 top European and
global Web sites including ATP Tour, Ciudad Futura and Ol.

Former strategic online consultant Howard Liptzin has been appointed managing
director for Italy. Initially, he will focus on incorporating top Italian Web
sites into the group’s portfolio and on developing the Italian sales force.
Prior to joining InterAd, Liptzin ran his own firm, Luna Park Multimedia, with
offices in Italy and Switzerland.

InterAd, which launched on March 2 as a pan-European focused Internet ad
repping house, provides services specifically tailored to Europe’s markets. It
recently opened its first U.S. office in Los Angeles, following the
appointment of industry veteran Bob Colvin.
