iSleuth.com said that as part of its corporate restructuring and adoption of a new business plan, it named John J. Bennett, to serve as its new chairman, president and chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Thomas J. Taule, the company’s former chairman and CEO, will remain as an
adviser and consultant.
The company also said it bolstered its Internet Sleuth site with the addition of several key advertisers in its new “iSleuth Shopper” section. Included are Barnes&Noble, CDnow, Electronic Newsstand, Reel.com, and software.net.
iSleuth.com, formerly known as Coordinated HealthCare Inc., is a provider of
various Internet services, including Web site design, development and hosting.
The company owns the rights to and operates The Internet Sleuth, a search
engine that allows users to search multiple databases (up to six)
simultaneously for maximum results.
Bennett previously served as president of Direct Digital Communications, an
Internet-based marketing and Web site development company that specializes in
working with Web site owners and operators to build traffic and revenues
through the development of site sponsorships, advertising programs and
partnership arrangements.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to join iSleuth.com,” said Bennett,
“and the challenge presented to build on a platform that possesses all the
necessary ingredients to become one of the Internet’s premier and most visited
Web sites. Presently, The Internet Sleuth enjoys about 300,000 visitors
monthly, experiencing a total of approximately 1 million page views per month.
Our goal is to build on this foundation and transform the site into an
Internet gateway that will serve as a home base for Internet users.”
“To accomplish this,” he added, “we plan to work with advertisers and other
partners to create co-branded portals and, through such sponsorship, create a
mixture of content and services, including customized news, e-mail and
shopping services. In turn, we will focus on developing the type of compelling
features and services that will make The Internet Sleuth the premier one-stop
content, shopping and searching site.”
