Women’s network iVillage Inc. has named John J. McMenamin as
vice president and general manager of sponsorship.

McMenamin will be responsible for
sponsorship sales, new-business development, sales operations, creative
services and the development of new selling platforms.

“As iVillage.com’s unique sponsorship model builds momentum, John’s diverse
background is a perfect fit for managing our growth, cultivating a highly
competitive sales organization, and refining the quality of service we
deliver to clients,” said John Glascott, iVillage’s senior vice president of sponsorship.

Most recently, McMenamin was president and chief executive officer of
Compucook Inc., an interactive in-store media company that provides recipes
and product information via an interactive kiosk network of more than 2,500
major supermarkets. At Compucook, McMenamin repositioned the company from a
standalone, in-store kiosk service to an integrated on-site and
Internet-based new-media, marketing, and promotion company.

Previously, he was president of Turner Private Networks Inc., a division of Time
Warner. Networks under TPNI included the CNN Airport Network,
CNN Accent Health Network, College Television Network and Turner In-flight.
