New York City-based K2 Design Inc. was selected to create an
online presence for the Metro New York service unit of Arthur Andersen LLP.

The new unit, the Arthur Andersen Technology Advisory Group, was formed to
cater to technology firms in the Metro New York, New Jersey and lower
Connecticut geographic regions. Billings were not disclosed.

K2 will work with the Arthur Andersen Technology Advisory Group to create an
online marketing and advertising program to establish the unit as the
premiere service provider for local New York metro technology companies.
Initially, K2 will develop a new Web site for the Technology Advisory Group.
K2 and Arthur Andersen also will work on positioning the Advisory Group in
emerging and middle-market technology markets.

“We selected the team at K2 because they have demonstrated a strong
knowledge
of the technology industry and their campaigns for communicating brands
online have been outstanding,” said Thomas Duffy, partner in charge of the
Metro New York Technology Practice.

Arthur Andersen’s Technology Group specializes in providing business
advisory, audit, tax, finance strategies, management, and IT services. Other
K2 clients include Lexis-Nexis, NCR, Sony Online Entertainment, Standard &
Poor’s, and Varsitybooks.com.
