LifeMinders.com, the company that
e-mails reminders to subscribers, on Friday signed Healtheon/WebMD to
sponsor its health category and place ads and content in more than 9
million health-related e-mail messages.

Financial terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed.

The deal calls for LifeMinders.com (LFMN) to integrate Healtheon/WebMD (HLTH)
advertisements and content into e-mail messages to people who request
health-related reminders. Ads for Healtheon/WebMD will also occasionally
appear in other LifeMinders.com categories.

Healtheon/WebMD earlier this week made a $4.99 billion acquisition,
snapping up healthcare management firm Medical Manager Corp. and its
online subsidiary CareInsite, Inc.
in an all stock deal. The deal boosted the company’s business-to-business
efforts, while the LifeMinders.com ad buy goes at building the consumer
side of the health care firm.

In recent weeks, LifeMinders.com has trumpeted nine long-term advertising
contracts it says are worth a combined $18 million. Other leading
advertisers who have signed with the company include Mercata, myGeek.com, PETsMART.com, InsWeb, Homewarehouse.com, Ourhouse.com, HomeGain.com, eNutrition and 800Predict.com.
