San Francisco-based Web site directory company Looksmart named Derek Malmquist as vice
president of brand marketing and said it will launch a multi-million dollar
national consumer advertising campaign later this year, encompassing print,
broadcast and online.

Most recently, Malmquist was group marketing manager of The Clorox Company,
whose laundry additives, insecticides and home cleaning products are sold in
more than 80 countries. Prior to that he was the brand manager for Clorox
Bleach.

Looksmart creates and maintains an editorially reviewed directory of content
on the Web, distributed through multiple channels.
