Media Connection Launches Online Ad Sales Unit

Internet development company Media Connection
of New York
(MCNY) formed a new division that will be selling online
advertising space for Web sites.


Initial clients are America’s
Employers
and Film Scouts, the
company said. Details of staffing for the new unit were not disclosed.


Developed and maintained by professional career consultants, job search site
America’s Employers features a free confidential resume bank, job matches,
thousands of advertised positions, an extensive company database, real-time
chat networking rooms and forums, and online screening interviews with
employers.


Filmscouts is an independent voice with news and commentary on the
entertainment world, offering coverage of Hollywood films, independent films
and film festivals. The site features movies, full-length trailers and
reports from Cannes, Sundance, Berlin, New York, and other places.
Filmscouts also contains a reference library with an extensive film
festival database.


Other MCNY clients include IBM, Price Waterhouse, The Equitable, and
SmithKline Beecham.
