NBC Promotes E-Commerce With TV Ads

SportSite.com has joined Amazon.com, LandsEnd.com and other companies in cooperative Father’s Day advertising promotions currently airing on NBC-TV.


A television first, the network is airing prime-time commercials promoting its
GiftSeeker site, found at both NBC.com and NBC Interactive Neighborhood.
GiftSeeker features diverse content from NBC along with gift-giving
opportunities from retailers such as SportSite.com, American Greetings and
Hammacher Schlemmer.


Commercials are being seen on prime-time shows like “ER,” “Dateline,”
“Profiler” and “The Saturday Night Movie.”


As part of the promotion with NBC, SportSite.com’s “Shop for Pop” page
features free shipping and 15% off on some of the store’s most popular items.
