net.Genesis Corp. delivered
net.Analysis for the AIX platform, IBM’s UNIX operating system.
net.Analysis provides advanced analysis and reporting on Web site activity in
support of sales and marketing initiatives.
One of its first customers is Barclays Bank, which selected net.Analysis
for AIX to accelerate its Web-based marketing and customer service programs.
“Analysis of Web site activity is a vital component for anyone who markets,
sells and supports their products on the Web,” said Larry Bohn, president and
CEO of net.Genesis Corp. “Support for the AIX platform is an important part of
net.Genesis’ enterprise strategy to allow customers to gain business
intelligence from their Web environments.”
net.Analysis for AIX is part of IBM’s own SurfAid Analytics Solution, which
helps companies deliver the most appropriate Web site content to their online
visitors. SurfAid identifies and applies sophisticated analytics to visitors’
movements within sites to determine their preferences and interests, and
ultimately improves a company’s ability to target advertisements, product
descriptions and other information.
net.Analysis 3.5 for AIX is priced at $9,500. Each net.Analysis license
includes the net.Analysis Engine, one net.Analysis Reporter client and
ReportSite.
