Netscape Communications Corp. selected Annuncio Software’s new Internet marketing
automation solution to expand its one-to-one marketing expertise and
infrastructure for its Netscape Netcenter division.
Annuncio Live will enable Netscape to automate, track and analyze
its Netcenter online advertising, marketing and promotional campaigns and to
deliver relevant information to its more than 10 million members. Financial
arrangements were not disclosed.

services and tools available to understand their needs and interests,” said Maria Wilhelm, senior
vice president of Netcenter programming. “By
consistently delivering relevant, personalized information, we believe we can
increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, while driving more traffic to
Netcenter.”
Last month, Netscape announced its 1999 integrated marketing campaign for
Netcenter, including online advertising and promotions as well as traditional
print and broadcast media.
Annuncio Live is a marketing automation solution designed to deliver
sophisticated segmentation, personalization and testing capabilities for
multi-tier campaigns. Marketing information that traditionally takes weeks or
months to capture, will now be
available to Netscape’s marketing team in real time, the company said.
