Network Associates Goes With THINK New Ideas

Jan 13, 1998

THINK New Ideas announced that Network Associates Inc.,
formerly McAfee Associates, a supplier of enterprise network security and
management solutions, named THINK as its interactive agency of record.

The agreement follows five months of New York City-based THINK handling
McAfee’s print and television advertising duties. THINK will now combine both
assignments, handling both offline and interactive work for the company.

The agency said it will apply its proprietary interactive technologies in
developing a Web presence for Network Associates and will create an online
advertising and marketing solution to drive traffic to the site.

“By extending our relationship with THINK to interactive, we can consolidate
our marketing, advertising, branding and product packaging functions to
better leverage the communication of our message and the positioning of our
products to existing and potential clients and consumers worldwide,” said
Zach Nelson, vice president and general manager of Network Management of
Santa Clara, CA-based Network Associates.
