Online advertising network Real
Media
on Wednesday announced the hiring of a new president and chief
executive officer, Christopher Neimeth, the former senior vice president
for business development and strategic planning at Times Company Digital, the Internet unit of
The New York Times Company.

Dave Morgan, who had been Real Media’s
president, is moving upstairs to the position of chairman.

“Chris Neimeth is practically a brand unto himself in the new media
industry,” says Morgan. “As Real Media takes the next logical steps towards
reinforcing its position as the most efficient and effective global online
ad network, Chris is the right person to take us there.”

While at the New York Times Company, Neimeth worked with Real Media as a
solutions provider for the New York Times on the Web. Prior to joining the
New York Times Company, Neimeth was a founder of Grey Interactive, New
York, and worked for other divisions of Grey Advertising.
