Intelligent Interactions said it will provide
its Adfinity software to manage delivery of rich media advertising for RealNetworks’ RealSites portfolio.

The sites include real.com, DailyBriefing, Timecast,
LiveConcerts, MusicNet, Film.com, and the Real Broadcast Network.
Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

Collectively, these sites claim more than 1.5 million ad impressions per day.
RealNetworks said it plans to use Adfinity to manage growth in its inventory
of advertising space as traffic increases on these sites and for future
content sites as its RealSites portfolio grows.

“Rich media types such as RealAudio, RealVideo, and RealFlash, co-developed by
RealNetworks and Macromedia, are becoming more and more popular with
advertisers,” said Jeff Lehman, vice president, advertising sales at
RealNetworks. “The ability to serve rich media types is growing in
importance for advertisers due to the fact that more than 35 million copies
of the RealPlayer have now been downloaded.”

“We selected Adfinity after thorough on-site testing and were extremely
impressed with performance and ability to manage rich media ad serving on our
RealSites portfolio,” said Phil Barrett, senior vice president, media systems
at RealNetworks. “Adfinity offers ease of administration, comprehensive
reporting capabilities, and significantly fast ad serving.”
