Moscow-based Interreklama, which says it is Russia’s
largest banner exchange network, said it has reached the 2 million exposures per day mark and is now providing 50 million exposures a month.

The network reached the 1 million daily exposure mark last September. On Jan.
12, the company said, it showed 2,015,419 advertisements in one day.

According to Web studio Altermedia, one of Interreklama’s
owners, the network now runs more than a third of Russia’s national banner
exposure.

Altermedia said in a statement that during 1998, Russian companies started to
recognize the Web as a reliable advertising medium, and more growth is
expected in 1999.

Interestingly, Interreklama said that several Western companies primarily
interested in advertising adult content sites are among its largest customers.

Interreklama offers targeting by time or content category, and in February
expects to offer geographical targeting.
