Former Coca-Cola Chief Marketing Officer Joins Netcentives Board
Netcentives in San Francisco, a provider of marketing solutions for electronic
commerce efforts, said that Coca-Cola’s former chief marketing officer, Sergio
Zyman, has joined its board of directors.

“E-commerce companies must constantly reinvent themselves, not unlike all of
the industries I’ve worked in,” Zyman said. “Netcentives develops the
powerful, flexible marketing programs used by both new and established brands
to gain and retain market share.” Netcentive’s flagship program is the
incentive marketing operation ClickRewards.

As Coca-Cola’s first chief marketing officer, Zyman altered every part of
Coca-Cola’s marketing program. In 1994, Zyman’s first full year as marketing
chief, Coke Classic’s volume grew 8 percent worldwide. Having stepped down from the
CMO role at Coca-Cola in March of this year, Zyman sits on the boards of The
Gap, The Honey Baked Ham Company, Launch.com and CyberMeals. A native of
