thetoybox.com Begins Holiday Ad Campaign

Toys and toy collectibles retailer thetoybox.com launched a regional
holiday ad campaign with media outlets including WRAL-TV.com, a news
station/Web site in the Raleigh/Durham market, along with ads in
newspapers, radio stations and magazines.


The campaign includes a strategic combination of traditional print
advertisements, Web site banner ads, holiday gift guides, affiliate site
links and broadcast promotions.

Spending was not disclosed.


The companys retail store and warehouse are located in Greenville, NC.
“We believe the advertising package we’ve put together for the holiday
season will provide thetoybox.com with high-volume visibility that will
assist in getting our name in front of the toy-buying public,” said Tony
Davis, thetoybox.com chief executive officer.

“The combination of traditional and Internet-based media outlets allows
us to reach consumers who already shop over the Internet as well as
those who will purchasing online for the first time this holiday season.
