TMP Worldwide, Lycos Form Marketing Alliance

of job ads and career information for Lycos’ Careers Web Guide.


Lycos users will have access to The Monster Board and OCC’s extensive database
of job listings from national and international employers. Financial
arrangements were not disclosed.


“Our goal when forming alliances is to select partners that benefit both job
seekers and employers, and our agreement with Lycos, one of the top Internet
search engines, clearly accomplishes this goal,” said Andrew J. McKelvey,
chairman and CEO of New York City-based TMP Worldwide


Said Robert Davis, president and CEO of Lycos: “By partnering with TMP we are
clearly making the Lycos experience more valuable for all of our users by
bringing job seekers and employers together through our reliable, easy-to-use
Careers Web Guide.”


Currently, 30,000 companies, including more than 55 of the Fortune 100,
advertise their jobs on TMP’s Web sites, according to the company.


The Monster Board, based in Framingham, MA, and Online Career Center, based in
Indianapolis, are products of the Interactive Division of TMP Worldwide, which
says it is the 14th largest advertising agency in the United States, with
specialties in yellow pages and recruitment.
