TMP Worldwide in New York City James J. Treacy as chief operating officer of
the yellow page advertising agency and classified ad Web site operations.
According to Andrew J. McKelvey, chairman and CEO of TMP Worldwide, said
Treacy will, among other things, assist the senior management of TMP’s
operating divisions in realizing increased efficiencies from TMP’s
acquisitions.
For the last two years, Treacy has served as TMP’s executive vice
president–finance and strategy. He will continue with these
responsibilities. Treacy led TMP through its initial public offering in
December of 1996 and a follow on offering in September of 1997.
TMP Worldwide operates The Monster Board career center on the Web;
Online Career Center; MedSearch, an online “help wanted” service
for the health care industry; and Be the Boss, provider of information on
franchise opportunities.
