UNUM selects US Interactive as AOR

Portland, ME-based UNUM Corp., a provider of disability insurance, has
selected US Interactive as its interactive
agency of record.


“Our work with UNUM will involve our key three divisions, including Digital
Marketing, Strategic Consulting, and Technology Solutions,” said Richard
Masterson, US Interactive’s co-founder and president. “We will be responsible
for a re-design of their existing Web site providing e-commerce, quite a bit of
online media, developing broker and customer support extranets and helping
them to migrate mainframe applications to their intranet.”


Billings were not disclosed.


Through its business units, UNUM provides insurance solutions to businesses
and individuals in need of financial security and protection against hardships
resulting from sickness, accidents and death.
