Ursus Telecom (UTCC)
on Tuesday chose Beyond
Interactive
to handle all online marketing for theSTREAM.com, a site that sells its
communications services, with initial spending for the global campaign
estimated at $5 million.

Beyond Interactive is managing all campaign strategy, including media
planning and buying, campaign management, reporting, creative design, and
third-party ad serving.

The effort is designed to increase consumer awareness of theSTREAM.com.

“With the initial deployment of our affiliate portal marketing agreements
underway, we are ready to begin a comprehensive online media campaign for
theSTREAM.com on a worldwide basis,” said Luca Giussani, chief executive
officer of Ursus.

theSTREAM.com has recently introduced free ISP service, free Web-based
e-mail, and a phone-to-phone IP calling plan. In some areas it competes
with Net2Phone (NTOP), which has, so far, gained more widespread recognition.
