US Interactive Inc. in New York said
that Sandler New Media, an Internet
strategy, development and marketing firm for global companies, has become a
part of the company.
Susan Sandler, previously president of Sandler New Media, joins US Interactive
as vice president, digital brand strategies, effective May 4. Financial
arrangements of the acquisition were not disclosed.
“Our clients, and the market as a whole, are making an increased demand for
Internet strategy and business development expertise,” said Larry Smith, chief
executive officer of US Interactive. “Sandler New Media has an excellent
reputation as a highly focused strategic Internet services consulting
practice, and we are thrilled that Susan and her staff are now part of US
Interactive.”
“By joining with US Interactive, we hope to provide the marketplace with a
greatly enhanced strategic front-end that complements this company’s existing
practices,” said Sandler. “Our goal is to bring together consulting and
marketing services, including innovative online media planning and buying, in
order to help our clients establish their brand in the digital marketplace as
effectively as possible.”
Sandler New Media , established in 1995, specializes in the creation of
digital brand strategies, as well as interactive advertising and media
development and placement for clients and partners that included advertising
agencies, international brands, and direct marketers.
Also joining US Interactive from Sandler New Media is Rich Reigart. An account
executive at Sandler New Media, Reigart has experience in business
development, program management and client services.
US Interactive fuses the disciplines of marketing agencies, technology systems
integrators and business management consultants into integrated solutions.
