US Interactive recently launched a
promotional Web site for the new McGraw-Hill book, “StrikingItRich.com:
Profiles of 23 Incredibly Successful Websites You’ve Probably Never Heard Of”
by Jaclyn Easton.
The official site was launched
Sept. 30
in conjunction with publication of the book.
Easton, a columnist for the Los Angeles Times and an on-camera Internet expert
for CBS 2 News in Los Angeles, selected US Interactive for the project.
Spending was not disclosed.
“I wanted a “wow” site for this book and was personally making the
investment,” said Easton. “US Interactive was my first choice, because I knew
www.strikingitrich.com would be packed with back-end technology you normally
wouldn’t see on a site to promote a book.”
The StrikingItRich.com site features 58 pages of content, 11 ASP forms, a MS
Access database back end, as well as a custom HTML editor for administration
of site elements. It gives Easton complete control over the content. The site
also features an auto-responder which sends a sample chapter to anyone who
sends an e-mail to sample@strikingitrich.com.
US Interactive provides a full range of electronic enterprise services,
including strategic consulting, marketing communications and technology
development and integration.
