Pay-per-click ad network ValueClick said that its chairman, Jim
Zarley, has taken on the role of chief executive officer. Zarley has served
as the company’s adviser and chairman since 1998.

ValueClick Founder and President Brian Coryat said Zarley’s leadership
position is a strategic step in accelerating the company’s expansion.

“Becoming the industry front-runner for Internet advertising has been
ValueClick’s goal from the beginning,” said Coryat. “The combination of a
seasoned and savvy management team, world-class technology, and a growing
customer base puts ValueClick well on its way to realizing that achievement
on a global scale.”

Before joining ValueClick, Zarley was COO for Hiway Technologies, and
chairman of the board and CEO of Best Internet. He also founded and later
sold Quantech Corp., now an ADP company. Earlier in his career, Zarley was
director of sales and marketing for RCA.

Coryat becomes chief operating officer while retaining his position as
company president.

Former GT Global COO Earle Malm joins ValueClick as chief marketing officer,
after serving as a company advisor since 1998. Malm also has held senior
management positions with GE and RCA.

Kurt Johnson, named chief financial officer in May, was previously an
investment banker with Olympic Capital Partners. John Schwenk assumed the
post of chief technology officer in April of this year.
