Cisco Offering Hybrid Switches for SMBs

Cisco is offering a middle ground between its lower-end, unmanaged 100 series of switches and the fully managed 300 series.

The new 200 series switches are geared for small and midsized businesses looking for some support without having to shell out for the networking giant’s top-shelf offering.

Cisco bills the new switches as a “smart” option, providing light management that includes quality of service and VLAN capabilities.

Additionally, Cisco is out with a new network security firewall, expanding on the capabilities included in the RV120W offering it launched last year.

Small Business Computing has the details on Cisco’s new networking gear for SMBs.
