Nokia yesterday introduced a dual-mode GPRS/WLAN PC card called the D311. The company claims that it is the first such dual mode card for the Americas.

Nokia also said the D311 is compatible with a type II or III PC card slot, on machines runnng Win 98/SE, Me, 2000, XP, Win CE 3.0, and Linux. The card is also compatible with VPN clients over GPRS and WLAN networks.
