Proxim Ships Pocket PC WLAN Card

Proxim, Inc., (Nasdaq:PROX) said Monday that it has started shipping its new 802.11b wireless networking card for Pocket PC handhelds.

Proxim’s Harmony 802.11b CompactFlash Card fits in the CompactFlash slot of handhelds based on Microsoft’s Pocket PC platform and is aimed at the corporate market, according to Proxim. The company said it is specifically optimized for Compaq’s iPAQ H3600 Series and the Casio Cassiopeia E-125 handhelds.

The card, which is available immediately, retails for $199.
