Boca Raton, FL-based Audio Book Club Inc. announced the development of a
co-branded e-commerce Web site to be launched early this summer in
conjunction with Doubleday Online, a subsidiary of Bertelsmann Inc.

The site will include a cross marketing and advertising campaign. As part of
the agreement, the companies will also cross promote each other’s services
through animated links and banners on their respective web sites, including
Doubleday’s www.doubledaybookclub.com and www.literaryguild.com sites and Audio
Book Club’s www.audiobookclub.com site.

“Given both our growing presences in the e-commerce arena, we welcome the opportunity to join
with Audio Book Club on the advancement of our Internet sales and marketing
campaign and look forward to working together on the creation of what is
certain to be a truly unique Web site,” said Seth Radwell, president and CEO of Doubleday Online.

Doubleday Online is the interactive arm of Doubleday Direct, North America’s
largest direct marketing consumer book club group.

Audio Book Club Inc. is a marketer of audiobooks through its membership club
that sells via the Internet and by mail order.
