Autoweb.com said it created a new revenue-sharing program for affiliates that pays $2 for every new- or used-car purchase request that originates at the affiliate site.

The program pays $5 for every private classified ad generated from an
affiliate Web location when they feature banners and hyperlinks to the
Autoweb.com site.

Autoweb.com said it created the program to allow qualified Web sites to take
advantage of the company’s rapid growth. Affiliates participate in the program simply by creating a hot link to Autoweb.com.

“Our new affiliates program offers a huge opportunity for any qualified site
on the Web to take advantage of the immense stream of sales going through
Autoweb.com on a daily basis,” said Payam Zamani, co-founder and executive
vice president of Autoweb.com. “No site is too big or small to participate.
This is a great way for any commerce, information or navigation destination to benefit.”

Autoweb.com already has partnerships with companies such as USA Today, Kelley Blue Book, and Car and Driver Online.
